Kore-Persephone
myminifactory
Female statue of the "Small Herculaneum Woman" type. A replica of a statue originally crafted in the workshop of Athenian sculptor Praxiteles (late 4th c. B.C.), possibly representing Kore-Persephone. The name of this statuary style comes from one among many copies found in Herculaneum, South Italy. This object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for public access. Scan The World is an open source community effort, where anyone with interesting items can contribute by emailing stw@myminifactory.com to find out how they can help.
