This project is still in progress, albeit somewhat stalled due to the cold weather. A DIY 3p10s battery pack for a Koowheel DM3. Increasing your range will be achieved by upgrading from the standard 5500mAh pack to one with proper Samsung 30Q cells, which can reach up to 9000mAh. Other necessary components include: Subd 2w2 (Please note that sufficient current capacity of 30~40A is required) M4 threaded rod, washers, and nuts 10S BMS (a small and simple one will suffice) Fuses (If you're not as bold as I am ;-) ) Nickel strip, 0.2mm x 8mm Note: You'll need to get creative when wiring the cells. I've already completed a pack, but it was a challenge due to the 3p10s layout and 5x6 housing dimensions. To avoid issues, create split-3-cell blocks using sufficient thick (or layered) nickel strip. Otherwise, you risk creating "18650 micro rockets," which won't end well. A zipfile containing SolidWorks files is included for those who prefer to remix the design.
