I yearned for an upgraded rendition of the Kool Aid Man - a creation that captured his larger-than-life persona with unwavering accuracy. This printable replica can be manufactured using an infilled technique to yield a remarkably flat, rounded top, emulating the 'fluid' appearance that defines him. Alternatively, I opted for a bold approach. By designing my iteration as a hollow, two-shelled model from ABS plastic, and carefully dissecting it along the "fluid" segment's curved outline, I crafted an uncanny replica - a pitch-perfect embodiment of this beloved character's inimitable image. Subsequently, employing hot acetone vapor to painstakingly smooth out the print, I further refined my design. The final touch involved utilizing a permanent marker to meticulously accentuate his defining features: gleaming black eyes that shine like beacons; a darkened nasal aperture; and a wide, red-lipped grin that seems almost photorealistic. Having grown unenthusiastic about my initial iteration, this upgraded model finally allows me to revel in nostalgia as I'm reminded of those fond memories from my childhood - specifically the television commercials that etched his charismatic personality onto my consciousness.
