This innovative lense system boasts functionality, expandability, and interchangeable components. It comprises a lense base and various insert options. The lense base is permanently attached to the camera body via screwing, avoiding interference with the focus ring and slippage issues. This base enables attachment of multiple filters and covers for diverse photographic needs. Custom or pre-cut filters are sandwiched between two plates, which can be easily screwed together. These plates facilitate on-the-fly filter changes, although having assembled filter sets ready can speed up the process even more. To shoot, simply rotate and lock the filter assembly into place within the lense base while maintaining focus ring access. Upon completion of photography, a full piece cover insert safeguards the lense from dust accumulation. The system also accommodates alternative cover designs like pinhole covers. Aligning with Lomography and Konstruktor aesthetics, components can be manufactured using 3D printing or injection molding techniques.
