Who would put sunglasses on a robot? The answer lies right in front of us. Do you like flying robots that can defy gravity? Then you get wings, even if the Time Absconder is actually just a clock. A fresh update from 2015 to Kongorilla's stunning masterpiece - TIme Defender 3000 - makes creating your own Time Absconder an easy feat (even if it does help you look cool and be on top of things - or at least keep track of time correctly). To create the Time Absconder, you'll need some essential un-modded parts: connectors, clock mount and dial, tread mount, and body. You can get these components from Kongorilla's original posting (linked to your right) for those who are slow to react - take this chance to show some appreciation and donate if you're inclined). One option is also using the original dials if these newer ones prove too radical for your taste. The Time Absconder doesn't have time for complaints. Instructions: Follow Kongorilla's directions on the Time Defender post. As the hands in this build are combined, you will need to detach the hand mount and utilize the one that prints along with the connectors (a wood screw does the trick so the hands can keep rotating). Don't bother trying to pose the Time Absconder - it just won't care; instead, attach his hands firmly in a rock out position if you prefer this stance or go for the 'Spider-man' look. Your choice. This build caters to those who accidentally buy the wrong clock mechanism: both versions work just fine here, even including the one that features a long dial mount.
