This is a highly detailed and accurate Komodo Dragon Skeleton Kit, Varanus komodoensis. The model's total length with all parts 3D printed and assembled together measures 609.6 millimeters or 60.96 centimeters, equivalent to two feet in length. Komodo dragons typically range from two to three meters in length, making this scale 1:5. Each bone part is designed with an internal channel that allows for easy assembly using a metallic wire with a diameter of 2 millimeters. The bones are prepared and modeled to be 3D printed in strong, flexible plastics, which have passed rigorous testing at Shapeways. The model comes in multiple STL files, each corresponding to a specific part: Komodo head and neck links, Komodo hips, Komodo left leg back, Komodo left foot back, Komodo left foot front, Komodo left leg front, Komodo right foot back, Komodo right foot front, Komodo right leg back, Komodo right leg front, Komodo spine ribs, Komodo sternum and scapulas, Komodo spine tail links from front to back, and Komodo spine tail segments one through four.
