This design consists of a plastic injection molded handle and bezel, steel pivot pin, torsion spring, cable, and a steel mounting bracket. Attachment to rocker is the same as current design, but moves the screw to the center of bracket. Screw will be hidden and design will be more robust due to forces being more evenly distributed to B-side of rocker. Cam shaped cable routing on backside of handle allows cable angle to remain constant through entire handle stroke.20mm cable travel is achieved at approximately 85deg. of rotation. Finishes on handle and bracket could be anything from plated to painted.
