Kodama Trinus Community LCD Case
thingiverse
A case for the community programmed Nextion display for the Kodama Trinus 3D printer has been created, and those interested in making one should read this forum post: https://www.kodamaforums.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1920&sid=eff8ae7c7701d98a6f53b0aa71d939be&start=190. The angled mount is designed to be mounted on the right Z Rail for optimal performance. Future plans involve creating another mount that will work in various locations, offering flexibility and convenience. To build this mount, you will need the following hardware: Six M3 screws, longer than 13mm, to hold the front securely and keep them from sticking out the back. The head should be roughly 6mm to fit into the recessed holes perfectly. Two of these screws simply hold the mount to the display case, ensuring a solid connection. Additionally, you will need two M3 screws that are 20mm long, along with matching nuts, to secure the mount onto the Z rail firmly. Update: A mount for the Trinus Enclosure has been created, and it fits perfectly on the curved surface. However, some form of double-sided foam tape or adhesive is required to hold it in place. The design includes cap screw holes that match perfectly, but connecting the mount to the case still requires some form of adhesive at this point. Might update the case file to reflect the change, but honestly, who wants to use specific screws when you can just use tape? We aren't building an airplane here, after all. If you're using the case mount, make sure the door clears the mount before sticking it on. No guarantees that it will fit if you're using screws. Also, the confirmation code for signing up for the Kodama forums is broken, so I'm unable to post this there. If someone could create a new account and post it, people would be able to find it easily.
