KODAK SLIDE N SCAN 16mm film adapter

I designed this adapter to fit into the base film holder of the KODAK SLIDE N SCAN 7 inch, but this will likely also work with the 5 inch version. The adapter has two pins to fit into the film perforations and keep exact the same position for every frame. With the adapter you can fairly quick scan 16mm movies into separate JPG's, which can be processed and combined on a computer. I used the programs below for this tasks and it works fine; - Avidemux - XnViewMP - XnConvert How to use: 1. Insert the 16mm adapter and find the correct position to scan a frame in the device. 2. Use a small piece of construction tape and place the adapter in the holder so the scan hole is in the right position and can no longer move. 3. Add a soft cushion to the inside of the cover, fix it with double sided tape in the holder. 4. Put the start of the filmstrip over the full length adapter. 5. Insert the adapter in the device and put the cover on the adapter at the device output slot. 6. Use the 2 holes and cable tie to fix in position. 7. When scanning is completed, remove the cable tie and cover first before removing the scan adapter and holder. See pictures!
