Koch lampshade for Blossoming Lamp
thingiverse
This is an experimental lampshade I conceptualized in Blender as a companion piece for the blossoming lamp for E14 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:875590) Optimize print settings using Slic3r, achieving optimal results with two perimeters, zero bottom and top layers, zero infill, and random seam. Scale the design by 0.98 for opaque materials that obstruct light. I used a Felix 3.0 printer with a 0.35mm nozzle to calculate size and perimeter settings. For 0.4mm or larger nozzles, adjust settings accordingly. Upgraded to a larger version similar in size to the original lampshade. Employ the same print settings. Print Specifications Printer Felix 3.0 Rafts None Supports None Resolution 250 microns Notes Slic3r slice for best results with two perimeters, zero bottom and top layers, zero infill, and random seam.
