The bandurka, also known as the kobza, is a traditional Ukrainian folk instrument belonging to the lute family (321.321-5+6 classification). It's closely related to the Central European mandora. However, the term kobza has been used to describe other Eastern European instruments that are distinct from the Ukrainian kobza.
