I constructed a custom housing for my Kobo Glo e-reader, paired with the Bluefly Vario GPS module and v 1.2. The package comes equipped with a big battery and an extra microswitch attached. I utilized a microswitch and M1.6 x 8 screws sourced from Aliexpress to assemble the device. Unfortunately, the original slide switch was broken, so I opted for this solution. I am more than satisfied with the outcome of my project. In addition to sharing my results, I plan to edit and release files that work seamlessly with functioning slide switches on Kobo Glo devices. On 02/12/19, I uploaded files compatible with working switches for KoboGlo. Enjoy!
