Kobo Mini Light Shield

This is based on the work done by some individuals on this thread:\r\n\r\n* https://forum.xcsoar.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1551&start=50\r\n\r\nThey found that sunlight was causing IR touch detection on the Kobo Mini to malfunction when used in a glider. This simple light shield does not block screen edges and serves to physically protect the screen. It appears to enhance touch detection even under normal lighting conditions. The inner curve is designed to deflect any reflections out of focus (PETG was used to ensure the shield would sit flat, giving it a shiny finish). The chosen material color was black, of course. Silicone RTV glue was used to secure the light shield to the Kobo Mini because I know it can be easily peeled off if needed.\r\n\r\nThis simple light shield has been tested on several flights and the lockup problem has not recurred.
