Kobo Forma smart auto sleep wake case

Auto sleep and wake case for Kobo Forma 2020. I don't know the difference between models, it may work for previous years. For auto sleep function you will need fi12x3mm fridge magnet. Don't use rare earth magnets, they are to strong and will trigger sleep when cover is folded back. Two rare earth fi15x2mm magnets (strong) are used for cover lock. Fridge magnets won't work here (to weak). Video of auto sleep and wake: https://youtu.be/VNLKxrkScaA 4x M3x30 screws (I used allen key heads) for hinges. Note correct position and orientation of hinges (4x). Two have 3.2mm holes and two have 2.7mm holes. Before you use magnets for auto sleep, test it if it even works. Forma is very picky regarding them. Cura enables pause at hight function (Extensions->Post processing->Modify G-code). Insert it to embed magnets into print or you can simply insert magnets on the fly. Take care about polarity of magnets! Forma have lock magnets reversed! One is pointing down and other up. When cover is printed, put it on flat surface with sharp edge, heat smaller part along folding edge with hair dryer and carefully bend lip to about 10°.° The hole in the middle should bleed some light on darker filaments to see if magnet is working or not.
