The plastic edge on my Kobo Aura One began flaking off, causing irritation whenever I grasped it in my hand, so a protective case was imperative. Unimpressed by the commercial options available, I opted to create my own instead. Given my unique grip style, my thumb inadvertently switched pages occasionally, prompting me to integrate a thumb rest for improved usability. This modification significantly enhanced the overall comfort of holding the device. Included in this design are versions tailored to right-handed, left-handed, and ambidextrous users alike.
