I'm using a Kobalt 24V battery with my Ryobi adapter. Check out this battery on Lowes.com: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-24-Volt-1-5-Amp-Hours-Lithium-Power-Tool-Battery/1000090833. Be aware that some Ryobi tools may not handle the 24V power, so use with caution! I've seen a YouTube video on this very topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vb_w2qyKcg. I tried using this adapter on my Ryobi 6 1/2" circular saw and it performed better than my old Ryobi 4 ah battery. However, the battery does get quite warm after extended use, so keep an eye on it. Note to self: I need to pick up some brass sheet - 20 GA is .032" thick or .8mm, while 18 gauge is .040" thick or 1.0mm.
