KO MP-44 REPLACEMENT WAIST JOINT Like many, I broke the figure at the waist trying to release the ab crunch. I decided to teach myself 3D modeling and printing in order to make a replacement piece. I'm sure it could be further fine tuned but once I got to v7 I was satisfied. An added bonus is that, while it doesn't fix, it does help the Alt mode transformation a bit. With extreme care and patience you actually can get everything tabbed in and all 6 wheels sit flat. I suggest printing in ABS. It is easier to sand and the little bit of flex inherent to the material seems to hold up better than PLA under stress.
