Knurled Lamps
thingiverse
The ceramicist in me recently resurfaced, leading me to create vessels with integrated lights. I highly recommend trying Taulman 618 nylon filament – it has exceptional properties that enhance printing capabilities. Notably, this material interacts fascinatingly with light, making printed pieces appear to glow when illuminated (photos don't do justice). However, be cautious of potential issues like dents during printing. A successful print should have zero infill and as few perimeters as possible, without a top solid fill; two shells may provide a tighter print if necessary, as one perimeter might leave gaps on overhangs.
