This element is necessary twice per multi-joint. It enables construction of a simple hinge. Ideal for creations that demand numerous joints like, for example, an excavator's arm. Using one M8 bearing block plus a U-block turns out too costly, so this hinge is very cost-effective. However, since it lacks steel bushings, it should not be used in heavy-loaded joints like, for example, whishbones for a chassis. A stainless washer with ID 8 and OD 35 is required to prevent scuffing. The M8x35 bolt + M8 lock nut in the center can be gradually tightened to achieve the desired level of friction. The part has been printed in PA. Printing method was SLS. They were printed at www.meltwerk.com. I have included 4x free hinge w/o stop and 2x hinge WITH stops in this one STL file, and they are physically connected with 1x2mm bridges that can be cut with a knife. At the time of printing (late 2019), I paid some €18 for the stack of 6. They fit perfectly together.
