Desk lamp featuring a knurled pattern. This USB light bulb from Amazon is required. I chose this bulb because it has 3 temperature settings (cool, warm, natural) and various brightness settings. Because it is USB powered, it can be powered by a wall adapter or a power bank. Others may work, but I cannot guarantee that they will attach to the base as desired.2 lamp shades - a tall and a short style.2 bases - rounded and faceted Print SettingsThe cover plate can be printed with standard print settings. For best results on the base, use enough perimeters for the sides to be printed solid. If you do not, light may shine through the walls and show your infill pattern.Vase mode is required for the lamp shade. The two most important things to follow when printing the lamp shade in vase mode:1mm external perimeters1mm maximum thickness for bottom layers (5x0.2mm, 4x0.25mm, etc.)Thinner perimeters may work, but the shade will fit loosely into the base. Assembly InstructionsThe bulb's base will need to be removed, but this is a simple process. It easily unscrews from the bulb.Use flush cutters or another cutting tool to cut the bulb's base to free it from the cord. You will no longer need this piece. Feed the cord through lamp base. The hole in the base is large enough to feed the cord and inline switch from the inside of the base out to the bottom. Be sure that the strain relief (knot in the cord) stays inside the base.Screw the bulb into the base. There is enough room for the strain relief to fit just below the bulb.Route the cord from the center of the base to the hole in the side wall.Snap the cover plate in place. The cord should now be hidden inside the lamp.Align the tabs of the lamp shade with the gaps inside the base. Rotate the shade to secure it.
