As a Fusion 360 exercise with knurling and threads, I designed a knurled AA battery container with a screw-on lid that holds seven AA batteries. To make it easier to grip the lid and access the batteries, I modified the design so that the batteries protrude from the bottom part of the container. To replicate these changes, use the files for version 3. Printing Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 10% Notes: The example is printed using ColorFabb's NGen material. After printing, apply a small amount of Teflon spray to the thread to prevent annoying squeaking sounds.
