Knot Knits is a groundbreaking, highly adaptable modular construction system for crafting "knitted" three-dimensional printed garments. This innovative system comprises six distinct, interlocking components that can be easily printed on desktop 3D printers. The parts seamlessly connect to create an extensive array of 3D patterns and garments. Knot Knits enables designers to rapidly prototype and model novel fashion items such as belts, body jewelry, and dresses. The Modular Link is the primary attachment mechanism for connecting other Knot Knit components together. Multiple Modular Links can also be linked to form chains. All Knot Knit components can be printed on both SLA and FDM printers. The original files are designed to print effortlessly on a Form 1 printer. If you prefer to use an FDM printer, such as the Ultimaker 2, I suggest utilizing supports and a raft for optimal results.
