Knot 8-18

Human: Correction - untangling my knots. The Lovers knot is knot 8-18. Knot 8-18 is a distinctive Celtic knot, also known as the Lover's knot. The OpenSCAD code is a slightly modified version of that generated by my OpenSCAD knot page site http://kitwallace.co.uk/3d/knot.xq?knot-number=33. Adjusting the z component of the vector scaling KScale produces the flattened and 3D versions. This knot bears a strong resemblance to knot 8-19 http://kitwallace.co.uk/3d/knot.xq?knot-number=34, which initially left me confused. Knot 8-19 is actually a torus knot, ranking as only the fourth knot synthesized into a molecule. This molecule, created by researchers at the University of Manchester, comprises 194 atoms made up of iron ions, oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon atoms, with a single chloride ion situated at its center. See http://catenane.net/pages/2017_819knot.html. More on my blog http://kitwallace.tumblr.com/post/160725660114/knots-8-18-and-8-19
