Designers Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub partnered with furniture makers Knoll to create a new line of furniture. Jehs and Laub admired Knoll's rich history and wanted to infuse their design with a nod to that heritage. The duo came up with a quilt-inspired concept, paying tribute to Pennsylvania's local industry by incorporating flexible designs at the top that form an adjustable headrest. Meanwhile, rigid angles on the lower portion provide a sturdy foundation through angular shapes. The model was crafted using Rhino 5.0 and Marvelous Designer, and rendered beautifully with V-Ray.
