Knock-Off Croc Rivet (2 Parts for strength)
thingiverse
We picked up some 'Croc' style shoes for my little ones at Meijer. The rivets kept snapping off. I took precise measurements with my calipers and after several tries printing them as one-piece replacements, I cut it into two pieces that fit together perfectly. The orientation of the STL is exactly how they should be printed out. The peg will benefit from being strong in length (tensile strength exceeding delamination sheer) and fits snugly into the round part of the rivet. I printed mine in blue nylon (just like a trimmer string) and it's incredibly durable compared to the original rivets on the shoes. Luckily, the male part of the rivet is hidden inside the shoe, so my kids don't even notice.
