Knock Box Bar Remix

I have a very nice Knock box that showcases the talents of Mr. DonJorhe in perfection. The size is ideal and the styling is extremely impressive. When using it, I noticed that overzealous knocking could potentially dislodge the bar from one end or the other, so I decided to modify the Bar by adding ends to prevent this issue - fortunately, the bar never actually came loose during usage, making this concern possibly unfounded. This modification is divided into three parts: two outer knobs and the main bar. It's designed for printing in ABS, with the knob without threads being welded to the flat end of the bar using acetone. Once assembled, the threaded end can be inserted into the Knock box and the other knob screwed on gently, eliminating any fear of the bar coming dislodged while still allowing for easy disassembly for cleaning or replacement. The main bar turned out to be about 6mm too long, so if you want a tighter fit, simply remove 6mm from the flat end of the bar before printing. I'm thoroughly enjoying my Knock Box, and I'm confident you will too! It can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1865048. Thanks for visiting! Printer Settings: Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: Yes Supports: No Infill: 24% Notes: The main bar was about 6mm too long, so you can print it as is and then adjust the fit accordingly. Post-Printing: Some Assembly Required Weld the Non-threaded knob to the flat end of the Bar with acetone. The other end will remain intact, held together by its threads for easy disassembly for cleaning or replacement of a worn bar. How I Designed This
