Knob Stove Knob

This is a phallic control knob for a Frigidaire stove. Since knob is a slang term for trouser snake you could say it's a knob stove knob.It probably fits lots of other brands of stoves, ovens, or ranges as the knob shaft seems to be a standard for stoves. I've included the FreeCAD and OpenSCAD files used to create it in case anyone wants to modify it for a non-compatible make of stove.I printed mine in PLA because it was just a temporary gag, but they should be printed in ABS or some other filament that can handle heat if you plan on using the burners with them on.How I Designed ThisOpened a GE stove knob model (almost identical to my Frigidaire stove knobs) from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9581 in the FlashPrint slicer, scaled the model up to the dimensions of the Fridgidaire knobs, and exported the STL.Imported the STL mesh into FreeCAD and converted to a solid (File->Import, Part->Create shape from mesh, Part->Refine shape, Part->Convert to solid), cut out a hole in the bottom to fit onto the control shafts of my Frigidaire stove, and exported the STL.Opened the STL in the FlashPrint slicer and cut off the bottom and top of the model.Modeled the chub and balls in OpenSCAD, exported it to an STL and added that to the stove knob STL in FlashPrint.Exported the merged models to an STL.
