Knob on a 3/8 inch screw
thingiverse
This custom knob replaces a broken one on my Powermatic table saw rip fence, featuring a 3/8" threaded rod hole. To secure the rod, use vice grips during installation; ensure the rod size matches the 1" deep hole. Print this design on a Makerbot with an auto-build platform and create a raft due to its height. To prevent knob flexing, adjust Base infill density in Skeinforge to .65 for tighter raft lines. Trim excess raft edges with scissors, poke the rod hole, and leave attached raft material. Smooth cut raft edge with a small flame for a polished finish. An updated version with smoother circles is available for download.
