Knob for Magnet
thingiverse
This text presents small, strong magnets (similar to http://www.crazy-magnet.de/en/products/3::25/10x-disc-magnet-%C3%96-6-x-2-mm-nickel-plated-strength-ca.-680-g) that effectively hold paper on whiteboards. However, their small size makes them difficult to grip when attached to the board. To solve this issue, a knob design is shared. The first option (knobA() and knobB() in the OpenSCAD file) features a hole for magnet insertion, with a top plug. The second option (knobC()) has a recessed bottom area for magnet installation via super glue. After designing, rendering, slicing (0.4 mm layer height), and printing in red or green ABS, these knobs enhance the magnets' usability on whiteboards.
