A second mod of the knob for the nerdy gurdy, adapted to any hurdy gurdies by using two 608 zz bearings and a screw rod m8 with m8 nuts to mount on the crank part. Enjoy. This is an adaptation of Jaap Brandt's model for his nerdy gurdy. This is version 2 here. I currently have this modified version 1.0 on my nerdy type hurdy gurdy. It can be adapted to all wheel hurdy-gurdies, provided you use a threaded rod m8, 608 ZZ bearings, and m8 nuts to secure everything. If necessary, you need to adjust the crank arm (by enlarging the hole) so that the threaded rod can pass through.
