Knightmare Frame: Type-02 Guren Mk.2

A highly detailed replica of the Guren Mk.2 mech from Code Geass was meticulously crafted using an articulated model design. Similar to the previously created Lancelot model, certain parts required printing twice due to their symmetrical nature, such as the Landspinner, Thighs, and Foot components. To facilitate pivoting movements, wire with a 22-gauge thickness was utilized for features like fingers on each hand, wheels, and the elbow of the right arm. In order to enhance poseability, some details were carefully edited to accommodate ball and socket joints. Super Glue was employed for assembling the parts, while additional support was provided by strategically placing craft foam within the connection between the shoulder and right arm. Thin foam strips were also inserted into other joints to stiffen them. The entire model was designed using 123D Design software and printed with a 10% fill rate on a Printrbot Play 3D printer.
