Knightmare Frame: Type-00A, Shinkiro
thingiverse
The Shinkiro mech from Code Geass stands out as a unique creation. In contrast to previous mechs built, this one employs a distinct joint system that eschews traditional ball-and-socket arrangements. I engineered new joints featuring a 1.75mm filament segment that maintains structural integrity at the pivot point (labeled Test Joint V 3 in the STL files) and utilizes flexible filament for the pivoting section (Test Joint V 3.1). The arms, legs, thighs, shoulders, hands, and toes require two prints each, while the wings necessitate four prints. To assemble the Shinkiro mech, print the Test Joint V 3.1 and neck in a flexible filament, reserving PLA or ABS for all other components. Specifically, print the Test Joint V 3.1 twenty-eight times, Test Joint v 3 nine times, and Test Joint V 3.2 twice to complete the build.
