<p>It was a lazy Saturday, and I was inspired by Mishkin2’s collection of wall art, so I whipped this up. It’s meant to be 3d printed, but I guess you can also use it (particularly the “positive” version) for laser cutting. The easiest way I found to mount them on the wall is to use double sided mounting tape on the larger surface area parts of the print.&nbsp;</p><p>On the negative logo, the helmet and the axe.</p><p>On the positive logo, just the four corners is enough.</p><p>I printed mine in black PLA with a 0.3mm layer height and 10% infill without any issues. If you want a better quality print, use more top layers. You can kind of see the infill pattern on mine with 3 top layers (so use 4+). The only part to be careful of is the <strong>fleur-de-lis </strong>portion under the shield. If you don’t have good surface adhesion, your print may be torpedoed here because it’s a small and detailed portion that needs quick retraction. I’d recommend going to a 15 mm/s first layer speed if you’re having issues. The downside to that is that it adds a decent amount of time to the print.</p><p>If you choose to scale the model down, be careful with the ”negative” file because the little connectors that hold the floating bits may disappear.&nbsp;</p>
