Knight of Norway
cults3d
Intended for 3d print. Norwegian knight, late medieval / renaissance era. Kit contains model parts allowing you to make a knight miniature (4 variants) with a number of Norwegian signifiers. See detailed list below. Recommended scale is 40 to 54mm scale. You can print the model at 28mm scale, but some details (particularly face and coat of arms) will suffer. Printing at sub-28mm scale may result in model parts being too delicate to print properly. All model parts are prescaled to roughly 54mm scale. Some minor assembly (using glue) is required. See image gallery and detailed list below for further information about model parts. DETAILED LIST Kit contains the following model parts: 1 Body leaning slightly, covering behind shield, sheathed sword. Armor is late 16th century Greenwich-style armor, with some fanciful touches of Maximillian/gothic style armor (especially the spiked poleyns). Decoration on shield is the Norwegian coat of arms 13th century-modern day. 1 Body leaning slightly, covering behind shield, drawn sword. Same as above, but with the sword in an alternate position. 1 Body leaning slightly, unarmed. Same as above, but without shield or sword. The separated shield, sheathed sword, dane axe, skis and ski poles can be added to the model. You can also use the model with equipment from other sources if you want to. 1 Body leaning slightly, unarmed and on skis. Same as above, but on skis and holding a pair of ski poles. 1 Shield. One shield decorated with the coat of arm of Norway. Can be used with some of the body variants (see descriptions above), or with any other miniature of your choosing. Please note that the shield straps might interfere with the body model if you choose to mount it on either arm. You can fix this by modifying the shield slightly with a scalpel post-print. You can also fix it by positioning the shield on one of the body models in your slicer software and print both model parts as a single object, as the model should be able to print despite overlapping model parts. 3 Heads. One helmeted, one bareheaded and one helmeted with the visor up to expose parts of the face. The face is modeled on Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen. 1 Snow-Covered Runestone. Can be used as base decoration for the Knight of Norway (using the large base), or as a standalone tabletop decoration. 1 Sheathed Sword. 1 Dane Axe. 1 set of skis. 1 set of ski poles. 1 Small Round base . 1 Large Round base . ..........................
