I mean, seriously, don't be that guy who assumes everyone thinks the same way as him. Newsflash: we don't. And no, it's not because we're all secretly aliens or anything (although, let's be real, that would be pretty cool). It's just because people have different opinions and perspectives, and that's what makes life interesting. So, here's a thought experiment for you: imagine you're on a plane, and the person next to you starts talking nonstop about their cat. Now, I know what you're thinking - "Why is this guy telling me all about his cat?" But then it hits you - maybe he's just really passionate about cats! Maybe he's trying to connect with you over something you both care about. The point is, don't assume people are idiots just because they think differently than you. You never know what someone might be going through or what their motivations are. And who knows, you might just learn something new.
