I designed a knife sheath for a handmade wooden grip knife featuring a Swedish "Morakniv" blade. The sheath was crafted to fit snugly, yet remain loose enough to be removed effortlessly. Print Details Printer: Wanhao Duplicator 4s, equipped with an additional cooling fan for enhanced performance Rafts: Yes, utilized to ensure stable base layers during printing Supports: No, not required due to the design's precision and geometry Resolution: Irrelevant in this case, as the print quality is consistently high regardless of settings Infill: Set to High, resulting in a dense and robust structure Notes: My customized setup for this print: Filament: White PLA, chosen for its vibrant color and strength Speed: 30 mm/s, providing a balance between rapid printing and detailed accuracy Resolution: 0.1 mm, ensuring crisp features and textures Infill: 100%, creating a solid and durable interior Additions: A raft was added to the print, allowing for easy removal of the sheath Comment: The sheath was printed with the opening facing downwards, facilitating smooth removal and installation.
