To complete this project, you will need additional components. Specifically: 2 bearings with an ID of 8mm and an OD of 22mm, width of 7mm; one 15mm rod, turned down to a diameter of 12mm at one end; one M8 threaded rod approximately 200 mm long; one M8 x35 bolt; one M8 nylon nut; several M8 washers for mounting the components together; two M6 nuts and two M6x20 Allen key bolts to secure the knob's retaining mechanism. If available, a fitting spring could also be used in this assembly. A spare part from Mercedes Benz with part number 442 993 51 01 should suffice and can likely be sourced for approximately 1 euro.
