This knife sharpening guide was designed for high quality japanese Shapton whetstones but it will work with any other stones as long as the stone height is 15mm and width not larger than 70mm. Dimensions of optimal Stone: W: 70mm L: 220mm H: 15mm I will update future versions into this design, so you receive them for free. I am using this guide for a 2000 USD knife and it creates razor sharp edges easily. Designed to print without support. The rails are a two part print to fit into all print beds, they can be glued together. I've also included a combined rail for larger printers. You may also use just Part-1 rail, it's sufficient but restricts the sliding motion a little bit. Adding a drop of vegetable oil into the rails can make the sliding motion easier, after an hour of use it will slide nice with water too. One piece of kitchen paper between Rails and table will make it stick well and prevent your table from getting dirty. Update: V2 variant of the Slider has been uploaded. It is a fully improved Slider and gives 0.8mm more vertical space. It also uses significantly less material due to cutouts.
