These knife handles serve as an exemplary model, demonstrating just how effortless it is to create them on a desktop CNC machine. To quickly obtain the desired shape of your knife, simply scan the object and then trace the image obtained. I sourced the blade of the steak knife from an online store that offers a wide range of items for crafting knives. To craft these handles, I employed my Stepcraft desktop CNC machine and a 7mm oak material with a spiral-toothed 3 mm flute. For attaching the handle to the blade, I utilized brass rivets. A few gentle taps with a soft hammer, combined with the assistance of my vice, securely fastened the rivets in place. Following this process, I refined the forms using a spindle sander and applied oil to complete the finishing touches on the wood.
