The handle I designed for my ceramic kitchen knife is a sturdy one. Four 4.2 mm screw holes provide a secure attachment point, while M3 nuts fit snugly into their corresponding holes. To ensure a firm bond between the knife and upper handle component, I inserted a piece of rubber - cut from an old bike tire - between them. This simple modification has proven to be highly effective, even after repeated exposure to the dishwasher's harsh cycles.
