Knife Handle

After my trusty kitchen knife handle finally gave out, I was determined to breathe new life into it. Following an exhaustive search, I discovered a design that perfectly captured the style I had in mind (thanks go to pbarrios for sharing thing:2790208), and then reworked it to flawlessly complement my blade. Using TinkerCAD, I quickly and efficiently merged the two designs together, carefully relocating the hole further away from the blade's edge and lengthening the channel that cradled it. Unfortunately, the print didn't quite turn out as expected - it failed to properly adhere to the printer bed and ended up curled beyond recognition :(. To salvage the situation, I sealed the gaps between the two pieces with a 3D pen and sanded it down to a decent finish. In hindsight, if I were to attempt this project again, I would take several key steps differently: I'd make the channel that held the blade significantly deeper, ensure a tighter seal between the printed parts, and hunt down screws that didn't require chopping to fit.
