Cut your bagel safely with this innovative knife guard, designed to protect your fingers from accidental cuts. We created this clever design after a painful experience: my girlfriend and I both sliced our fingers while trying to cut through three-day-old bagels. This compact cutter is perfect for slicing bagels up to 5 inches in diameter and 1.75 inches thick. For the best results, use a long, serrated knife to smoothly slice your bagel. When using the cutter, gently hold both edges and press down firmly on top of it for optimal performance. Be aware that this design will leave a small portion of the bagel uncut at the bottom. To prevent slipping on countertop surfaces, we recommend adding some rubber padding to the bottom of the knife guard and securing it with glue for a secure grip.
