Knife cover for Wuesthof classic 4582
thingiverse
The knife cover was designed specifically for a friend's Wuesthof Dreizack classic 4582 knife. The original design featured his name prominently above a small slit that serves as a crucial part of the locking mechanism. To improve the functionality, I manually added support for this slit to ensure smooth motion when engaging or disengaging the lock. In order to print this cover successfully, it's essential to select the "Touching Print Bed Only" option in your Slicer settings. A potential future update to the design may include a larger nose on the locking mechanism for enhanced security and stability.
