The Kirambit is a small handheld stabbing knife. It has been designed primarily as an edged-utility knife that may also be used for close quarter self-defense against lightly armored foes such as bandits, barbarians, or other infantryman who don't use metal armor. The blade has no sharp edge but has been serrated along the entire length to reduce the effect of any potential shock or stress. The design does make it somewhat effective as a stabbing tool at close quarters in spite of lacking sharp edges on its flat blade sections.
