This figurine originates from the Block-Sterns (LE148) site in eastern Leon County, Florida. Curated by the Florida Bureau of Archaeological Resources in Tallahassee, it is a part of the Florida Division of Historical Resources collection. USF investigators Collins and Doering conducted a thorough scanning of this piece, collaborating with the Florida Park Service as part of their work documenting collections at FBAR. Utilizing advanced technology, 3D scanning was performed using a triangulation instrument, followed by processing in Geomagic Wrap and ZBrush. To showcase its texture accurately, color data was removed from the model and compared to corresponding color renders.
