Designed for a friend. The kneeboard in question had a part that controlled the retraction and deployment of the fin; said part had begun to deteriorate. The part was small but crucial to the board's function so it was probably designed with planned obsolescence in mind. The new part worked well, and the board's owner is pleased to have a functional kneeboard and plenty of spares should another one break.Please note, I have no experience with kneeoards. I simply replicated an existing part, so apologies if I used any incorrect terminology.
