Knee Joint prosthesis and Knee Simulator

This project focuses on creating a lightweight, compact knee simulator for testing knee joint/implant loads. In SOLID WORKS, we designed a knee implant prototype and conducted stress analysis to determine total deformation. Equivalent stress analysis was performed with three different loads for 10,000 cycles on the implant and the entire simulator. Our innovative Knee Simulator Test Rig efficiently performs flexion-extension motion on the implant within reduced time intervals. This cost-effective design is easy to construct and manufacture.
