A small wooden boat has been discovered on the excavation site of the Aboa Vetus et Ars Nova museum, related to structure R55 and units KU101 and KU108. The boat belongs to the museum's collection. A 3D model was made with a seven-scan Artec space spider 3D scanner. The original polygon mesh has been simplified from 3,969,392 polygons to 450,000 polygons. The digitization was produced by the joint archaeological 3D-digitization project of Turku University's Archaeology Department, the Museum Centre of Turku and Aboa Vetus et Ars Nova museum.
