Klipsch La scala
thingiverse
I stumbled upon a pair of these in high school and was totally blown away. Then bought a brand new pair in my early twenties and kept them for over twenty years, loved everything about them except moving them. I had an afternoon to kill so this is what I have to show for it. I will state it right up front "These are not to scale". This is the best I can recall (at 52 years old I don't recall much) but these are a close approximation. They are sixty-eight millimeters tall, fifty millimeters wide and fifty millimeters deep which is about two and one-half inches tall by about two inches wide by two inches deep. Perfect for the desk top, I guarantee there is at least one person at your work that will do a double take just for the "neato factor". (When I was young, if you saw something you liked, you would say "that is neat"). Anyway, I printed them with wood filament and they turned out really neat. Position them facing up to print, I added a support in the back from the Horn driver magnet to the rear that can be removed after printing. Yes, the mid-range and tweeter horns can be viewed from the rear just like the real ones as well as the visible parts of the folded base cabinet. This brought back some fun memories, hopefully this will make someone else smile as well. Enjoy!
