Klinik R/C Cougar KC Laydown Battery Cradle Holder #KRC-SCHCRADLE
thingiverse
You swap batteries after every race, taking time and placing them awkwardly next to motor wires.\r\nI spotted some guys using a klinik battery holder with rubber bands.\r\nFusion 360 took hours, four versions later, and here you have it!\r\nPrint it out and enjoy the ride!\r\nTwo rubber bands or even better, hair bands from your wife (as per photo) are needed.\r\nYou'll also need two longer screws, two nuts, and two washers.\r\nThis holder can be flipped for extreme battery positions.\r\nI tried the PLA version while racing indoors with lots of jumps and a few crashes - it still held up!\r\nA nylon or CF version will be even more durable.\r\nThe rubber bands holding pins seem thin but aren't strong enough to break, and they're small enough for the battery to sit close to the motor.\r\nVersion 2 was too big for my lipo pack\r\nVersion 3 was too tall (and strong) with 90-degree edges (the blue one)\r\nVersion 4 is shown in the photos (gold printed), 4mm thick\r\nVersion 5 - 5mm thick and wider for screws, allowing more movement
